Sailing Shilshole Bay
[vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][vc_column_text]I just recently added the Sigma ART 24-35mm f2 lens to my collection- my first non-Canon lens. The first thing I noticed is the quality of the lens. The matte black finishes on the body is very solid and sexy. I have always wanted a good walk-around lens while traveling, without having to constantly change out the lens. Hopefully, this is the lens that will fit my needs. Thanks to a close buddy of mine, my fiancée and I had the opportunity to go out sailing and snap a few test shots. Below are some sample shots taken with the new lens.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media="99890" media_lightbox="yes" media_width_percent="100"][vc_single_image media="99892" media_lightbox="yes" media_width_percent="100"][vc_column_text]As soon as the wind started to pick up, we had a difficult time maintaining our balance on the boat. This limited my ability to shoot and photograph as much as I would like on this trip. For my own safety, I spent most of my time sitting down.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media="99895" media_lightbox="yes" media_width_percent="100"][vc_column_text]The picture above is one of my favorites. The cloud formation and the contrasting temperature made this photo very dramatic. As you can see, the photo quality is phenomenal! I am happy with my recent purchase, but I will need some time to acclimate to the new lens.
Very impressive for a non-Canon lens![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media="99896" media_width_percent="100"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][vc_single_image media="99906" media_width_percent="100"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
