The 4th

4th. I was a bit disappointed during my trip to Washington DC. It was extremely hot and humid, the street was extremely crowded, and the monument was surrounded by the construction scaffold. The monument is under construction due to the damage from the 2011 Virginia earthquake. In order to get the perfect spot at the reflection lake, I camped out under the torturing heat. It definitely paid off with these photos I shot during the fourth of July.
