Friends in The City
One year ago I married the girl of my dreams, Lynda, and the both of us started a new chapter in our lives. Lynda and I had originally planned to travel to New York as a way commemorate our special one year anniversary, but life had other, unexpected plans, for us and how to celebrate. We ended up shelving our original plans to travel, for now, and chose to celebrate at home, as an unfortunate event wouldn't allow us to travel due to numerous hospital trips that set us back.
Fortunately, our close friend, Kieu came to visit us and cheer us up. And despite less than ideal weather conditions, the rain did not stop us from having fun. Most of our time was spent outside on the patio basking in nature's beauty. While evenings were spent by the fireplace, as we sipped on sweet Italian wines, shared stories, jokes and laughter.
The rain had ceased by Sunday and allowed us to take a short drive to Seattle, to capture some photos and enjoy the ambiance of the city.
Kieu and Lynda have been best friends since childhood and I thought it would be nice to take some random photos for their keepsake. In exchange, Kieu took photos of my wife and me as an anniversary gift.
